Kevin Moore has advised collectors with various tastes and interests for over a decade. He offers curatorial expertise in the conception and formation of collections that have personal meaning, historical significance, and financial viability. Previous to working as an independent curator, Moore worked in the curatorial departments of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York, and the Fogg Art Museum, Harvard University. He has organized numerous museum and gallery exhibitions, notably, from a private collection standpoint, Real to Real: Photographs from the Traina Collection (de Young Museum, San Francisco, 2012); Stills (Michael Lowe Gallery, Cincinnati, 2014); and After Industry (Weston Gallery, Cincinnati, 2016).
Moore also helps manage collections, advising on framing, shipping, installation, storage, and the conservation of works. He lives in New York City, where he previews and bids for works at auction on behalf of collectors, visits galleries and museums, and participates in a variety of art events, ranging from museum discussions to artist studio visits. He travels regularly to the major art fairs in the US and Europe.
